We clearly remember how, the very first time we stepped into this home, we knew it would be a wonderful place to live. The expansive curved stairs gave us a sense of luxury, while the well-lit living areas and the nicely flowing floor plan conveyed a sense of comfort and tranquility.
By the time we walked past the foyer and into the kitchen, we were sold. However, when we saw the backyard, we were ready to sign the offer! It was a sunny, warm Texas day and the beautiful pool sparkled while the beautifully maintained garden provided a picture-perfect frame the spa. Since then, we have spent so many mornings, afternoons and evenings swimming in the pool and soaking in the spa. The fully-fenced yard is perfect for pets, especially the long grassy area on the side for some fetching fun with your puppy.
Another aspect about this house is its flexibility: a small family with no kids can live efficiently in the first floor, keeping the second floor nice and tidy for when visitors come. It’s the best of both worlds, because you have all the space when you need it but not the hassle and expense of cleaning and maintaining such a large house. However, a larger family can fully utilize every square foot of the house while having individual privacy and lots of elbow room. The second master suite upstairs is amazing when you have guests for an extended stay.
We have also been super happy with the location. Great food, coffee, drinks and fun are never more than 5 minutes away. The diversity of cuisine was a big (positive) surprise for us: every type of Asian food, plus middle-eastern, Italian, and so much more. Not to mention that Uptown and Downtown Dallas are short drive from the house.
Finally, the small neighborhood is a perfect loop with sidewalks: great for a short stroll with your kids. When we want a longer walk, the nearby parks provide a perfect destination to enjoy the peace and quiet of this neighborhood.
This house is a charmer at first, and a forever home once you get to know it.
